Hello HOD. Great site! I've been viewing for a while and now I'm registered.
I probably have some catching up to do, but what happened to a couple greats from yesterday...Mike Baird & Ed Greene?

Mike Baird is still around LA, he went back to doing TV/film sessions.
Ed Greene, maybe I am wrong here but I thought he passed away not long ago.

I remember that Mike Baird share some tracks in the Page's record with Vinnie (produced by his "friend" Jay Graydon...), Ralph Humphreys and Jeff.
It's the famous session where Jay, no happy with what did Vinnie asked to Jeff to play some track where Vinnie did already a great job as usual, Jeff refused and he decided to urinate in some Jay's bag for the solidarity with Vinnie.
I think that Randy must know the story and can correct me if I'm wrong...
Great record anyway.

Mike indeed played on that record along with Ralph, Vinnie and Jeff. Can't really elaborate on the Jeff story to whether it's true or not,. Maybe I will email Steve George (ex pages, Mr Mister) and ask him, he lives nearby.
As to Ed Greene, again I am not positive.
Ok, I have been searching and cannot seem to find anything that says he has passed away, I found a session he did last year for Lonnie Lee, so maybe what I heard was mistaken for someone else.

Hey Randy,
Well, Vinnie told me this story with Jeff and Jay so...
It's just the way how I did post this story with my weird english, I'm not sure to use the right words...
But thanks for asking to Steve George if he's around...
And cool if Ed Green is still around too, great news.
Peace.

Thanks for checking into it guys. I knew about the Pages stuff. That third Pages record is my favorite of all time! Songwriting, performances, production....world class!!
I saw them with Vinnie at the Golden Bear just after You Need A Hero hit the airwaves.
